Yes, you did read that correctly – Zeta has been nominated to win a major industry award for ‘Best B2B Website or Campaign’.
Before we continue we’d like to issue an apology to anyone within earshot of Zeta HQ on Thursday 18 July – there is a strong chance that their hearing may have been damaged by the sounds of us celebrating the good news!
Several hearty rounds of high fives down, the team went to the Dadi website to check out the competition. Our nomination suddenly became all the more significant as we discovered that Zeta’s work has been pitched against projects for such industry giants as IBM, Microsoft and American Airlines.
The Dadi Awards recognise “digital excellence” and “effective digital strategies and campaigns”. Zeta has been nominated in recognition of a responsive web design project for long standing client, Benson Group.
Benson Group delivers major projects for clients including Waitrose, Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Dr Oetker. Zeta was asked to help reposition the brand with a redesigned website.
The packaging designer is known for embracing unusual and challenging projects that competitors shy away from, so we wanted to reflect this pioneering approach with a site that showcased the Group’s fresh designs to their full advantage. We used lots of product photography, simple but eye catching aesthetics and clean, jargon free copy. And the whole thing is completely mobile friendly, of course!
Our entry was entitled “Responsive Website Helps Rebels Of Packaging Sector Start Industry Renaissance” and impressed the judges with some mind blowing statistics:
- The website redesign increased Benson Group’s online contact form enquiries by 157%
- Email enquiries increased by 200%; enquiries from mobile and tablet browsers went up by 2400%
- The volume of enquiries coming from established household brands increased significantly, as well as the number of enquiries coming from innovative startup companies and product inventors
The site looks beautiful, too – Benson’s customers have praised the user-friendly interface, striking visuals and clear layout, and has helped position the client as an industry leader thanks to additional information sections where white papers and research are published.
The final results of the Dadi Awards will be announced in October at a gathering of “the elite of the UK’s digital industry” (yep, that’s us!) so we look forward to updating you later in the year.
