Creative tandem make a native app to BlackBerry's delight.

Finalists in The Drum Marketing Awards in 2012 and one of the RAR Top 50 Recommended London Agencies,  the award winning Ambition Communications is a highly sought after agency with a fantastic array of clients from Grazia to BlackBerry, so naturally Zeta jumped at the chance to partner them.

BlackBerry's design brief required a Native app to support the global BlackBerry Q10 launch at a live Vodafone event.  The remit was for the App to promote the new designs whilst encouraging customer interaction with the brand.  Ambition and Zeta worked together to design and build an interactive game app that utilized the BlackBerry Hub to familiarise current users with the new design, educating BlackBerry's clients through entertainment and interaction. It was Zeta's task to bring Ambition's brilliant designs into a functional reality, within a strict and incredibly tight time frame.

Zeta's in-house developers rose to the challenge magnificently.  Adhering to the design criteria, the Hub and icons were used as key design elements, exploding from the standard Hub and swirling and converging until the player selected an icon and possibly a prize.  Not only did the Ambition and Zeta tandem manage to meet all of BlackBerry's required criteria, but also managed to defy the odds and complete the project on an incredibly tight turnaround that other agencies had suggested as impossible.

The popularity of the app at the Vodafone event was testament to the successful and reliable relationship developed between Zeta and Ambition, with both groups of in-house designers operating as one to achieve the unachievable.

The result of this fruitful partnership was a functional, exciting and innovative game app that served to promote brand immersion and interaction whilst promoting the new BlackBerry Q10 smartphone.
