International Quest language students benefit from Facebook learning campaign

We got to grips with International Quest's 11-17 year old market and came up with a fail safe scheme to engage them and encourage learning  - using the power of social media.

We discovered that students were still clocking up a lot of time on Facebook during course time - not surprising when we know that people between the ages of 11-17 years old access the site daily. Rather than try to force change, we decided to harness this time and turn it into a positive learning experience, using a medium that the students were already engaging with. We integrated Facebook into the site we designed for I Quest and encouraged sharing.
Teachers and activity leaders uploaded real-time photos to their course’s page. Another direct result of the campaign was a steep rise in student applications.
