Jay Makes Zeta Look Good
It’s been a long time in the making but finally we have found the time to put together a short video of the excellent street artist Jay Gawronski working his magic on the walls of the Zeta office. Not only did we take photos of him every step of the way, we also filmed him from start to finish, capturing every sweep of the spray-can, contemplative stand and bizarre little dance.
All of us here at the Zeta family are over the moon with the work Jay has done; he has made our office stand out from all the rest by putting our ethos in a 10ft high mural for everybody to see. more…

Time-Wasting at Zeta
Do you ever sneakily go on Facebook at work hoping your boss doesn’t see? Do you ever blatantly go on Facebook at work and not care if your boss sees? If you’re the former it’s time to stop worrying as Mashable Social Media say using social media can make you better at your job. If you’re the latter, I wouldn’t worry, you never cared anyway.
They say, and we agree, that by utilising and exploring social media tools employees can consume, learn and act on information much quicker. If knowledge is everything, then surely the more the better? We are obviously not talking about looking up your boyfriend from 5 years ago to see if his new girlfriend is pretty; we’re talking about separating your work and personal accounts, condensing the information and building relationships with contacts in the time it takes to tweet. more…

Speed Up Your Ranking and Conversion Rate

Back in April, Google announced that it had included site speed as a factor in its ranking algorithm and that some sites were already being penalised in search results because of slow site speed. When Avoiding Spam Words Just Isn’t Enough
Re-working client email campaigns is an essential part of Zeta’s
campaign strategies. Editorial can work their magic on any copy to re-phrase or completely remove spam
, but there are occasions when this just isn’t enough. Each client delivers legitimate campaigns to opted-in lists but there are certain campaigns which cannot avoid the use of spam words. This is a really tricky dilemma because these campaigns provide a real service to an audience which is truly interested. But there is a way forward.
Zeta has implemented a very simple strategy to get around this problem. Turn any prominent spam word into an image. I am not talking about hero images or great looking graphical elements but actually the words in the bulk of the
